Stolz und Vorurteil

Jane Austen was a famous English novelist^[1] whose novels were translated into a lot other languages than English and some even made into movies.

One of her books that I want to discuss here is her Pride and Prejudice. I’m not going to discuss the book, the plots, the main characters. I’m going to discuss the difference of translation versions between 2 translator of this book.

The first translation is by Helga Schulz, with title “Stolz und Vorurteil”, published by Deutscher Taschenbuch Verlag with ISBN 3423123508. The second one is by Ursula and Christian Grawe, with the same title and the same publisher with ISBN 3453123247.
